Context
What survives the repression: exactly one visual memory of his Pop, and it's the leaning. The accounting is explicit ("one unrepressed") — an inventory of an archive almost entirely under seal; a paragraph later the Gummi-Bear image gets the same bookkeeping, "this too a visual memory, contextless and creepy."
