The collapse begins in earnest: Kittenplan adopts Ingersoll's new ontology as license for revenge, and Ingersoll — mid-assault — is still arguing map-logic, shrieking that his attacker is technically vaporized. The rules aren't abandoned; they degrade into weapons, each kid citing whichever level of reality currently favors them.
