The entire endnote, glossing urine-day's "Mrs. I's triad of required Grammars" (p. 154, above): three consecutive years of mandatory grammar for every E.T.A. student, prescriptive first. Avril's crusade institutionalized as curriculum — and the G&M of n.110's blackboard prank (p. 1014, below) is the triad's senior year.
