Stice stuck to the window — "You believe in shit, Hal?’ ‘Shit?’…"
‘You believe in shit, Hal?’ ‘Shit?’ ‘I don’t know. Little-kid shit. Telekiniption. Ghosts. Parabnormal shit.’
Context
The arc's question put point-blank, in Stice's Kansas dialect, nights deep into phenomena he can't explain: The Darkness — occlusively sealed to a frozen window — needs to know whether anyone else's world admits the things his has started doing. Hal's answer, and the book's, takes the rest of the arc. ("Telekiniption" and "parabnormal" are the dialect, exact as written.)
