They were buried with him. The Masters of everything unreleased. At least that was in his will.
Context
Asked where the Master cartridges are, Joelle keeps returning to the grave: buried with Himself, per his will, "in there with him. Buried." The dead father's unreleased work is interred in his own body in the Mondragon family plot, so that the family's archive and the family's grave are the same place — and the joke she closes on is that the burial is now doubly hidden, "Where he's buried is itself buried, now," the plot swallowed into the Concavity's annulation-zone. The Hamlet ground literalized: the father's secrets go into the earth with him, and retrieving them means digging up the king.
