It occurs to Gately he’s never had any sort of dream where somebody says anything like vast bulk, much less agora, which Gately interprets as a kind of expensive sweater.
Context
The reality-test running as a gag: mid-figurant-lecture, the dream's vocabulary again outruns the dreamer (and "agora"/angora is Gately's mishearing engine working even on evidence against the dream being his). Texture-tier sibling of the pp. 832-833 audit.
