Context
The Night Wears a Sombrero: again the casting is the content — Joelle under a veil, on film, before (in-world) she ever wears one on Boston streets. The figure fuses the theme's two halves of her: veiled and blinding — the men who look toward her get their eyes ritually put out, the "lethally beautiful" myth rendered as literal Western-matinee plot, in the Actaeon myth-grammar U.H.I.D. would later hand her (068).
