Documented by Steven Moore's first-draft collation; the corrections' physical source document is now provenance-attested the CultureMap archive series: the HRC holds a bound copy of "Corrections of Typos/Errors for Paperback Printing of Infinite Jest" from David Foster Wallace to Nona Krug and Michael Pietsch — i.e. the 1997 corrected text derives from Wallace's OWN corrections list, author-side, not a house pass; the document itself is now partially image-witnessed the Ransom Center draft-page scans: its hand-lettered cover — "Corrections of Typos/Errors for Paperback Printing of Infinite Jest / From: D. Wallace / To: Nona Krug; Michael Pietsch / June, 1996" (image-derived transcription, high confidence) — self-dates the list ~4 months after publication, and one content opening (the p. 30 spread) is captured in full.

Further notes. The CultureMap caption's "On page 30, Wallace corrects the age of one of the characters in the book" the CultureMap archive series is now RESOLVED at image grain: the photographed p. 30 spread (scene 5, pp. 27–31 — a first-printing copy still reading "twelve") carries Wallace's red-ink fixes ten for twelve twice (his sticky note itemizes: "2 corrections on p 30 / (1) line 10 – ital ten for twelve / (2) line 11 – ten for twelve"), plus a green margin note addressed to M.P.: Need to change Hal's age to prevent contradiction at p. 223 — 13 in YTMP would make him 19 in YDAU (image-derived transcriptions, high confidence). So the p. 30 items are twelve→ten; Moore's "thirteen"→"eleven" example is the adjacent companion fix (our text's "I’ll be eleven in June," same scene), not the p. 30 pair. Both p. 30 corrections are present in our reading text ("I’m ten for Pete’s sake" = 1, curly; "ten-year-old tennis and lexical prodigy" = 1) — and the rationale note is primary evidence that the Hal-age repair was the author's own consistency enforcement against the p. 223 Subsidized-Time year list (a 6-year YTMP→YDAU interval, done in his hand, post-publication).
