Graduate prorectors are supposed to inspect subdorm rooms for tight bedmaking and the like, but few bother; the diligent exceptions are Aubrey deLint, Mary Esther Thode, and the "hatchet-faced Kenyan Tony Nwangi" (p. 998), who keeps the Pemulis/Troeltsch/Schacht suite under constant scrutiny.
