Endnote 381 — the loathed photograph

A dating correction on a print — "B.S. 1926" (p. 1079) per MoMA's Still Photo Archive — that predates J.O.I.'s ever taking up a camera. Hal rightly recalls Avril always hating it, which makes it odd that she has left it hanging in the Headmaster's House living room for four years after Incandenza's "felo de se."
