• What: Poor Tony's obstetrician father "rended his own clothing in symbolic shiva in the Year of the Whopper" — mourning his gender-dysphoric son as though dead, a ritual disowning (distinct from the father's own later, literal death; scene 069's seizure-visions place the father "Being lowered under the snow at Mount Auburn Cemetery"). The father recurs through the seizure as the presiding, unappeasable figure of Poor Tony's ruin.
