- What: Joelle shot ten-second High-Def clips of Orin punting (material of JOI's film #78), with a Bolex and an Orin-bought Angenieux zoom. Orin, "indifferent to all other spectation," would dim the co-op and re-watch them alone, "frozen on his own helmeted face right before impact." "He saw something different each time he rewound, something more… The clips of him punting unfolded like time-lapsing flowers and seemed to reveal him in ways he could never have engineered." Sometimes he got an erection but never masturbated ("Joelle came home"). No microwave popcorn for Orin, even then.
