What: While Orin recuperated in Boston from "minor surgery on a hypertrophied left quadriceps," Joelle traveled with JOI and Mario for Safe Boating Is No Accident and understudied Leith, took a stage name, and began acting in JOI's films. Orin, "pretty luke-warm on film," respected her creative drives "to an extent"; his real interest was watching her clips of himself (event 18). He notes Joelle housekeeps "like a fiend," a resemblance to the Moms he "finds a bit creepy."
