The mold-eating memory — Orin as family narrator

• When: ~March/early April, Orin's Weston boyhood (Hal ~4-5; Orin the older witness); pre-E.T.A.
• What: The archetypal Weston memory the whole family keeps re-telling comes down to us as Orin's: helping Avril till the backyard garden with a rented Rototiller when toddler Hal came out holding a gnawed patch of basement mold and announced "I ate this," touching off Avril's hysterical "Help! My son ate this!" laps of the garden. Orin is the rememberer of record; he later re-performs the whole thing for Steeply (event 30) as a specimen of the Moms's "emotional weather." (This is the same incident Hal narrates in scene 002 and Orin embroiders in n234.)
