• What: Per Notkin, Joelle made JOI's stopping distilled spirits her personal condition for consenting to appear in his final cartridge, and JOI — incredibly — kept the bargain the whole three-and-a-half months to his death, "possibly because he'd been so deeply moved" at her agreeing to appear after her deformation and Orin's abandonment. Notkin's added detail: the turkey-shaped Wild Turkey gift bottle found by the microwave oven he died before was plausibly placed there by the widow-to-be, enraged that he'd been willing to give up spirits "for" Madame Psychosis but never for her.
