• What: In the small hours (Mr. Bouncety-Bounce on the viewer), Kate sits folded head-to-foot on the couch — the posture she has held every night since the Lenz/Gately blowup in the streetlet — while Geoffrey Day recounts the "large, dark, billowing shape" of pure horror that a resonance of fan and violin once loosed in his childhood mind. Kate, identifying hard, keeps trying to fix its form ("Was it triangular? The shape?") and translating it into her own idiom of the wing "too big to see." The two converse while both staring into space; it "isn't like a real interface."
