Blackout-drunk through the entire Eschaton catastrophe

timeline_event

pivotal · 8 Nov YDAU — Interdependence Day

  • When: 8 November YDAU (Interdependence Day), afternoon, at the Gatorade pavilion beside the East Courts
  • What: The only upperclass spectator who was never an Eschaton devotee, Struck watches the game from the pavilion while getting steadily, badly drunk on suspiciously bracing spiked Gatorade. He is abruptly sick all over his own lap, slumps, moans in a possibly foreign tongue, tries and fails to yell a Kertwang, falls out of his patio chair with his legs still tangled in it, wets his pants, and lies insensible — peanut skins accreting in his hair — through the game's entire descent into the brawl that injures several children. The later blame post-mortem clears him by the lowest bar available: he didn't even seem conscious for the debacle.
