What: Gately officially joined the White Flag Group of Enfield, put his name and sobriety-date on the roster, and got "Active": breaking down the hall alongside the oxygen-tanked "Ferocious Francis" G., riding on Commitments in the Crocodiles' sedans, telling his grisly story from the podium. He "got up the juice" to ask the Crocodile Ferocious Francis G. to be his sponsor. Early on he'd spew vitriol at Beginner Meetings trying to get kicked out, only to be met with "Keep Coming!"
