His one limelighted supervision, Toronto's Blue Jays' SkyDome, became a public humiliation when spectators along the foul-lines could see into the attached hotel's bedroom windows and a disgruntled cameraman routed the resulting coital images onto the 75-meter scoreboard. He took the lion's share of the heat; the market for live-audience venues then "bottomed out" as events went to cartridge, which he calls his career's honest summary — "not technically untrue so much as just not entirely open and forthcoming."
