When: The A.F.R.'s occupied Antitoi Entertainment shop, Inman Square, on the first day of the multi-day search of the brothers' stock.
What: A found cartridge (the rival F.L.Q.'s street-display cartridge, as it proves) must be verified by viewing, and young Tassigny volunteers to be rolled into the room of storage and strapped in. While the cell drinks a toast to the volunteer and Fortier embraces him, Broullîme performs the technical office: he fits Tassigny with EEG wires before the viewer placed in the room of storage. The cell's instrumentation man, hands-on for the first time in the book.
