• What: Doing occasional "work of affiliation" with the Separatist/anti-O.N.A.N. F.L.Q., the Antitois are a small, self-contained, "monomitotic," eccentric and borderline-incompetent insurgent cell, protected gently by their late regional patron M. Guillaume DuPlessis of the Gaspé. They were packed into an all-terrain vehicle with reflective glassware, glass-blowing hardware, broom, ordnance, survivalist cookware, postcards, gag soap, and low-demand InterLace cartridges and sent south — as a two-celled organism — to establish a respectable front and abet more malignant cells. The front is "Antitoi Entertainent" (sic per n.203), the mirror/blown-glass/gag/postcard/used-cartridge shop; Lucien runs inventory and order, Bertraund runs acquisition. Much of the gag stock (buzzers, X-ray specs, treacly cards) is trucked in at a substantial, politically motivated discount from Acmé Inc. of Waltham, owned by a Québec-sympathetic Albertan mogul.
