Context
The prophecy and the program in three sentences: the boy will be "poetry in motion," and "the trick will be transcending that overlarge head" — "learning to move just the way you already sit still. Living in your body." The whole athletic project is stated as a subordination of the cerebral to the corporeal, the "overlarge head" (the physics prodigy, the revving intellect) as the obstacle the body must overcome. E.T.A.'s later doctrine that the head is what gets "worked on" through the body inverts this; here the head is simply the thing to be transcended so the body can take over.
