Struck's tactical pedagogy on the cheating opponent: "you play the calls, not a word, keep smiling" — absorb the bad line-calls without retaliation, and the winning-through-forbearance builds character ("you'll have grown inside as a person"). It's the sport's sportsmanship-cliché delivered as real competitive discipline: the body and temperament trained to eat injustice on court and keep playing, the same subordinate-the-self ethic Schtitt preaches, in locker-room-tactician form. (The cliché-as-register is irony-sincerity's; OURS is the pedagogy substance.)
