The academy's winter architecture is named for an organ: the Lung, an inflatable dome kept up by moving air, sheltering the courts so the regimen never stops for weather. The bodies drilling under it are enclosed in a bigger body — the institution literalized as respiration, the tennis plant breathing so its athletes can keep training year-round.
