Orin, stonewalling "Helen" Steeply through the putative Moment soft profile, on where Himself is buried. The other half of Joelle's p. 941 punchline, from the family side: Avril's whole home town has been map-eliminated by the Concavity's ecocycles — a literal, cartographic wipe that lands the book's suicide idiom on a piece of geography — and it's JOI, the book's premier self-eliminator, whose body now lies in the erasure.
