all I am given is that O. reports that in the days prior to Dr. Incandenza’s felo de se, a so-called “word” appeared on a “fogged” “window” of Mrs. Inc’s pale yellow Volvo, and the word cast a conjugal pall in all sorts of directions. This is it.
Context
Writing on fogged glass, days before the microwave: an unnamed word on the Volvo's window, every noun in scare quotes as Bain marks how little he actually holds ("This is it."). For this theme it's the condensation-writing surface class — breath-fog as medium, the same class as 003's steamed-mirror KNIFE crux, though no catalogue entry links them; adjacency noted as ours, inferred. The bitter rhyme with n234's anti-fog glass — the man invents glass that can't take finger-writing, and a finger-written word on fogged family glass shadows his last days — is likewise inferred, flagged in both entries.
