James O. Incandenza: a filmography (pp. 990–991)

At the point where the filmography crosses into Subsidized Time, Himself's production company changes its name one last time — to Poor Yorick Entertainment Unlimited, which then stamps almost every late film: As of Yore, Accomplice!, Low-Temperature Civics, and the fatal Infinite Jest (V?) among them. The father names his whole final body of work after the gravedigger's skull — Yorick, the dead jester Hamlet cradles in V.i, the memento mori that is the play's emblem of the buried father exhumed. It is the single most explicit Hamlet gesture in the book's apparatus: the dead king's entire oeuvre issues, by his own naming, from the skull in the grave. And "Poor Yorick" is where the lethal cartridge — the one buried with him — comes from, so the company name closes the loop the whole novel runs: the entertainment that kills its viewers is produced under the sign of the exhumed skull.
