Context
Dream-Francis's account of the Lenz fight, via Glenny Kubitz. Carlisle catches this as a dream-tell planted well before the reveal: the actual assailants were three Canadians in Hawaiian shirts, and the dream has inflated their number and laundered their nationality into the shirts themselves — exactly the kind of confident distortion dreams run on. Read back from p. 890, it's the earliest visible seam in the dream's waking disguise.
