Context
The Entertainment's first A.F.R. casualties, lost to an unbriefed viewing in the Antitoi storage room. The elegy is built from the bodies — Joubet's wheelies, and Desjardins so recently under the train that his stumps still generate phantom pain: the amputation-as-election rite dated on a living nervous system, the youth of the cadre made physiological.
