Context

Ewell's detox roommate, a late-stage alcoholic with the rouged-corpse look, spends all day rapt before the air conditioner as if it were a viewer. Carlisle logs the billowing curtains into the billowing-as-horror-harbinger chain; a blown mind's affect running on empty stimulus.
