Context
Orin breaks years of silence toward the family and neither brother can speak in his own words: the opening is a Beatles lyric, and Hal recognizes it and answers with the next line of the same song, longing to reconnect performed entirely through a pre-fab script. Then "That's what you think" and the connection is cut before either says anything of his own. Even the reunion happens in quotation and ends in a severed line.
