Context
The accidental first drink framed by the institution it evades: a recovery-house resident, off-grounds and purseless after a mugging, who came in for drugs and never drank, discovering alcohol for the very first time in exactly the setting the House spends all its vigilance guarding against. The disease finds the undefended flank — she was watching the front door for drugs while the back door stood open.
