The textual anchor tying Avril's name to Tavis was inserted at the very last revision stage — the Avril–Tavis kinship/marriage signal readers lean on was a deliberate late reinforcement, not long-standing copy. Pairs with diff-name-changes (Avril's whole identity was still "Constance Bilodeau" in the 1993 manuscript): her naming was under active revision from first draft to press.
