Establishes Himself's thin commercial reach: InterLace bought a few accessible early documentaries but, apart from one PBS-ish piece, they barely dented his fortune, and only a couple of his highbrow works were optioned for the "'Howls from the Margin'" (p. 1031) line. Most of his output did not reach ILT menus until after his death.
